Syeda Kutub, OD

Dr. Syeda Kutub is passionate about helping patients achieve their best vision while making every visit comfortable, informative, and personalized.

Dr. Kutub obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree as a member of the honor society from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. Her clinical interests include primary care, dry eye disease, and ocular disease. She is committed to staying current in her knowledge and skills of the latest advancements in eye care to ensure her patients receive the highest quality treatments available.

As the founder of SK Eyecare, Dr. Kutub is proud to serve the Northern Virginia community by creating a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, valued, and confident in their eye care. She believes that exceptional care begins with listening to each patient's needs, building trusting relationships, and providing individualized care that helps them see clearly and maintain healthy eyes for years to come.

When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Kutub loves to stay active, wind down with yoga, and spend quality time with family.

steven phan, OD

Dr. Steven Phan is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered eye care to patients of all ages. He enjoys getting to know his patients and working together to protect their vision and overall eye health based on their unique visual needs.

Dr. Phan earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) before receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (MCPHS).

Following optometry school, Dr. Phan completed a residency with a primary focus on ocular disease, where he gained advanced clinical experience managing complex eye conditions. His residency training also included specialty contact lenses, vision rehabilitation, and pre- and post-operative surgical care. His professional interests include dry eye disease, ocular disease, and contact lenses.

Outside the office, Dr. Phan enjoys exploring new restaurants, dancing, and staying active through weight training and fitness. He is also currently learning a new language using Duolingo.
